I have been tattooing my brains out at Spiritus and enjoying every minute of it.
Replying to a large volume of emails is trying, it takes a lot of time, but I do my best to reply.
If you’re interested in having something done, please review the list of things I do and do not do on my contact page.

I am concentrating mostly on developing my tattooing style this year, but hoping to finish up the HELL IS REAL series by mid summer. As much as I’m trying to take it easy this year, I’ve really only redistributed my energies to enrich a few projects that need it most.

You’ll see more of my current tattoo projects on Instagram than anywhere else. It’s just much easier to update there.

SPIRITUS GRAND OPENING!

Join us for an evening of fun as we celebrate our grand opening and share with you the fruits of our labor in building Spiritus Tattoo.

This project has been a long time coming for both Mike and I and we wish to share our installation with you. There will be great music provided by Terryland’s own dynamo DJ Orson, studio t-shirts available along with other merchandise, some refreshments and our grandios environment.
Come one and all, meet us both and let us show you what we’ve been up to.

We’ll be sharing the stage with our new neighbors, Lucky 13 Hair Salon, as they celebrate their 7 year anniversary! So expect a good old fashioned Clintonville block party!

send cards, flowers, and well wishes in your stead to us here!

Our website is LIVE! Right now it’s just in placeholder mode but links to our sites and location map are working. In the coming days and weeks, check in on us for all updates. Web work by Matt Bailey, web design by Kat Marie Moya.

I’m honored to be on this list and owe a lot of thanks to the Columbus Alive newspaper for considering the Cuckoo exhibit to be one of the top five of 2012. Thank you to anyone and everyone that had a hand in that decision. I’m floored.

★ Spiritus ★

Shop construction is well under way. Expect to see the big date announcement to be late January or early February with a grand opening event as well. “Spiritus Tattoo” is a joint venture with tattoo artist Mike Moses, coming all the way from New York and dropping his anchor in the 614. I’m a big fan of his work, and together we’re developing quite the atmosphere for our venture. The studio will be like no other. Stay tuned for current news and location announcement.

There will be a handful of Cuckoos on display and available, opening this weekend at Brigade in the Short North of Columbus. The pieces we chose are a perfect fit for the aesthetic of this beautiful shop. I’ll be in attendance during gallery hop this Saturday from 7-11pm. Please stop in to have a look, shop around, and show some love.

Por Vida V is now over.

It’s been a long and rewarding ride, and you’ll find me in restorative mode in the coming weeks to prepare for a major new project. 2013 will begin with a bang, a new studio, my own. I’ve been tattooing since 1996, it’s about time I found the right crew, the right location, and the right place in my life to make it happen. All have been secured and it’s a go. Stay tuned as the mystery all of three unveils itself in spurts. Thank you for your support.

A big thank you to 614 Magazine and Ryan Haye for the honest and comical article about me and my Cuckoo series. It’s easy to laugh at myself when worded this eloquently :)
